Watch: Man looks for his dream boyfriend on Channel 5’s Blind Date in first for the show

This week's episode is set to feature LGBT contestants for the first time

Blind Date is set to feature a gay contestant for the first time ever.

The iconic show, which recently made a comeback on Channel 5 with Paul O’Grady as the host, will include an exciting change to the format when the latest episode airs at the weekend.

Viewers will get to see nightclub host Joni from Newcastle on the lookout for his dream man. But the question remains, will he find love?

We’re not sure he’ll be that lucky unfortunately, considering one of the contestants ends up taking a serious shine to O’Grady.

When asked who his dream date would be, 29-year-old Mark replied: “Well, is it big headed to say someone like yourself?”

Awkward.
