Lily Allen has unveiled the music video for new track Sheezus. Watch it below.

The trap-inspired song, the title track from Allen’s upcoming third studio album, was produced by Drake collaborator DJ Dahi.

It’s the fifth track Allen has unveiled from her new album – following Hard Out Here, L8 CMMR, Air Balloon and Our Time.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Allen claimed that she wanted Sheezus to be the album’s lead single.

“I would have liked to see Sheezus as a single, but it’s not up-tempo enough,” she explained. “It’s also got the word ‘period’ in it, which is really offensive to people, even though half the world has to deal with it once a month.”

The song also explores the seemingly artificial comparisons between female popstars, name-checking Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Lorde and Lady Gaga.

However, when asked whether she was being shady about her fellow females, Allen said: “It’s completely the opposite of that…I’m saying that I want all of them to be Sheezus, and I want to be Sheezus, too.”

Lily Allen’s new album Sheezus is released on May 5.
