Diesel get playful in new Autumn/Winter ’16 campaign

Fresh off the bat of their Diesel Black Gold Campaign last week, Diesel‘s main collection campaign has been released for Autumn Winter 2016.
The campaign is a mix of humour and honesty (and a few puns thrown in for good measure, which we’re all for.) With models Lucas Ucedo, Miles Frank, Julian Schratter and Xiara Waller star in the campaign, styled by Davey Sutton.
“We worked with director/photography duo Santiago & Mauricio to shoot beautiful and impactful images where the product is celebrated with a twist on the traditional advertising images,” says artistic director Nicola Formichetti.
Nicola also explains that that the Autumn/Winter ’16 campaign must ‘speak the same language of telling it as it is’ as last year’s collection.
The imagery taps into the social media world with a no nonsense and fun campaign. There’s a mix of rock and pop and a strong ’90s feel. As well as bombers and paired-down pieces, there are fun patches and pops of bright colours to balance out the collection.
