Big Brother star Alex Cannon strips off for Attitude Active

Model and TV star Alex Cannon talks working out and how he maintains his super buff physique.
28-year-old Liverpudlian model and fitness athlete Alex Canon finished seventh in this year’s Big Brother. In this November issue, Alex talks to Attitude about staying fit and the launch of his supplement range.
“During the past 10 years of training I have tried and tested so many supplements to find out what works. My range offers the core supplements you need because I think people are taking too much stuff and neglecting food, whereas supplements should work alongside to give you everything you need to progress as best you can.”
As we talk to Alex, it’s clear that staying fit and in shape is paramount, and he reveals how he maintains his ripped physique. Asking how difficult he finds it to maintain his current body, he says
“It’s not too bad because I know what works and what doesn’t … I would say read up on everything and find the workout that you enjoy – if you don’t enjoy it, you will never stick to it.”
He adds that keeping a strict diet isn’t as important to him as balance and moderation.
“No I don’t keep a strict diet but, as I said, I know what works for my body and what doesn’t … I don’t believe in cheat days or cheat meals – Everything in moderation. If I want a piece of chocolate I will have it.”
There’s no denying that Alex has a body that many crave, so we asked him what’s more important to him: being healthy on the inside or looking good on the outside?
“It’s really important to make sure you’re fueling your body right but I can’t argue with the idea that I want to look good on the outside. I work out for me and want to look my best.”
