Sam Salter recreating iconic film and TV moments is giving us a much-needed lockdown lift

Cinematic excellence from the 'Swan Lake' star.

By Joseph Kocharian

We’ve cleaned the house, we’ve binged all there is to watch on Netflix, but at least we have another source of entertainment to while away these long days in lockdown.

Ballet dancer, model and former Attitude cover star Sam Salter has been providing boundless material on his Instagram feed recently, where his recreations of famous film and TV moments hitting just the spot.

From Pose‘s Elektra Abundance to The Devil Wears Prada’s Miranda Priestly, Sam’s proved he’a got the acting chops for the world’s most faulous roles.

Here are a few of our personal faves, starting with Tyra Banks’ infamous meltdown on America’s Next Top Model:

25-year-old Sam also brought us a flawless lipsync to one of the greatest soliloquies of all time: Tiffany Pollard’s iconic rant about Gemma Collins on CBB. Shakespeare could never.

Next up. Sam tackled another cinematic heavyweight role: that of Mean Girls toaster strudel heiress GretchenWeiners.

His thrifty look as he channeled Pose‘s Elektra Abundance proved he’s a crafty queen, even in isolation:

Give this man all the awards (bonus points for the erotic hand gestures).

This potrayal of misunderstood, feminist icon, Miss Trunchbull is everything (Matlida had it coming, end of discussion).

Miranda Priestly would never show this much thigh, but we’ll allow it:

In conclusion. We stan these SAG Award-worthy perfomances. Do you have a favourite? What would you request for Sam to do next?

We’d quite like a Nomi Malone Showgirls moment, or something from Clueless.

In the meantime, you can relive some of the highlights of Sam’s recent Attitude cover shoot below:
