Rocky IV’s Dolph Lundgren models CDLP’s MOBILITÉ collection

Rocky IV actor, Dolph Lundregn, is lending a helping hand or two by modeling CDLP’s latest collection of essential sportswear, MOBILITÉ.
The men’s underwear brand launched its 2021 Autumn-Winter capsule on 13 October, with the Swedish actor, director, producer, and martial artist embodying the campaign.
In a series of images taken by photographer Jonas Unger, Lundgren demonstrates the range’s style which is perfect for all kinds of activity.
CDLP’s MOBILITÉ continues the brand’s goal of producing innovative luxury and consciously constructed essentials.
Starting with the outer layer – designed for pre and post-workout moments – it re-interprets classic athletic wear with robust, heavyweight fabrics, and relaxed fits.
The Heavy Terry sets (sported by Lundgren in Off-White above and in Poppy red below) use familiar loopback knit fabric, which features loops on the inside and a smooth outer surface.
These allow air to circulate, and also wick moisture efficiently. The garment’s unique blend of recycled and organic cotton allows it to maintain its shape and comfort.
As for the technical base layer, it’s designed for physical performance and is made from a strong and durable material produced from recycling existing plastic materials (as is the whole collection)
Enhanced flexibility, mesh ventilation, non-chafing seams, no-tag constructions, and superior moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties make it the perfect base layer to workout in.
No doubt Lundgren’s iconic physique and intriguing stoicism, as well as his breakthrough role as Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in 1985’s Rocky IV, has crafted the perception of Lundgren.
But today, the European karate champion’s training is as much about strengthening the mind as much as the body, making him a perfect fit for the Mobilité ethos.
CDLP’s artistic director, Christian Larson, has said he was drawn to Lundgren for his life experience and philosophy – reinforcing his knack to focus on persona over hype.
