Three men were hospitalised yesterday (February 4) following an incident at “Europe’s biggest gay sauna”.
Chariots sauna in Vauxhall was temporarily closed while police and paramedics attended the scene following a drug-related incident involving three men.
One man in his 30s admitted to police that he had taken Class A Drugs, while a further two men were found unconscious and were taken to a Central London hospital where they remain in a “stable” condition.
“Officers attended and spoke to a man in his thirties who admitted consuming class A drugs,” said the Met in a statement. “He was taken to a north London hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Two other men were subsequently found collapsed inside the club. Both men were conveyed by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital where they remain in a stable condition.”
Currently no arrests have been made by police. Chariots, who have yet to comment on the incident, reopened yesterday afternoon.
