Paul O’Grady vows to leave Britain if the Conservatives win election

Paul O’Grady has said that he will leave Britain if the Conservatives win the general election.

Speaking at Labour’s final rally in Central London yesterday (May 2), the comedian and chatshow host declared his full support for Ed Miliband’s party in front of 400 supporters.

“I can’t live under this bloody government any more,” O’Grady said. “I am going to get a house on the Lido in Venice. I have paid a fortune in tax and I will say, ‘You can have that mate’.

“What I am going to do in a house on the Lido in Venice when I can’t speak Italian and hate pasta, God only knows. But I can’t live under this Conservative Government, this Coalition.

He added: “That is why we have to vote Labour, we have to get Ed in, we have to make changes.”

Snooker star Ronnie O’Sullivan was also in attendance, as he was unveiled as Labour’s newest celebrity supporter.

Katie Hopkins previously claimed that she would leave the UK if Miliband is elected.

Polls will open on Thursday May 7th at 7am.
