Kellie Maloney has completed gender reassignment surgery

The former UKIP candidate and boxing manager revealed she is a fully-fledged female

Kellie Maloney is a “fully-fledged female now”.

The former UKIP candidate was forced to live a double life when she was known as Frank Maloney – a boxing promoter who managed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis.

But back in 2014, she started undergoing gender reassignment surgery and now, in an interview with Kent Online, Kellie revealed she has completed the surgery.

She said: “I’m a fully-fledged female now. I had it cut off and replaced.”

While managing Lewis, Kellie was living as a woman in Worthing and said people who saw Frank never saw Kellie.

“When I went there, Frank would be locked away in a cupboard and I would be Kellie because no one knew me and I felt safe,” she added.

“Only I knew the two people existed. People who saw Frank never saw Kellie. It was there from a young age, but I didn’t understand it.”

Kellie – who attempted three suicides while trying to hide her identity – recently called for transgender people to be removed from the LGBT+ acronym after dubbing it “confusing”.

She believes including the trans community in the term for lesbian, gay and bisexual people causes confusion as the public don’t understand the concept of being trans.
