Courtney Cox, Debra Messing and more stand up for male rape survivors in powerful new video

A number of celebrities have lent their voices to a powerful new public service video which aims to increase public awareness of male rape survivors.

The campaign, organised by the Joyful Heart Foundation, claims 1 in 6 men are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and it shows a number of big names reciting comments which are often used as excuses for ignoring male rape, or correctly treating those affected.

The video features music legend Mary J. Blige, Will and Grace’s  Debra Messing, Friends star Courtney Cox, and Academy Award winning actress Hillary Swank, as well as singer Nick Lachey and actor Christopher Meloni.
