CNN reporter Don Lemon has got engaged to his boyfriend Tim Malone.
The news anchor took to Instagram to reveal that his boyfriend engraved two bowtie-shaped dog tags asking: “Daddy will you marry papa?” which were placed on their two puppies, Boomer and Barkley.
Writing on Instagram, Don said: “He gave me a present on his birthday. How could I say no?”
The couple met at a Hamptons-area restaurant after Tim had broken up with another partner and the two had been friends for more than a year before they began dating.
The two shared a kiss on-air during CNN’s live New Year’s Eve broadcast last year.
