Blue singer Lee Ryan ‘arrested for disruptive behaviour’ on a flight
Passangers claim Ryan was “aggressive” and “intimidating” after he wasn't served alcohol

Lee Ryan, of boyband Blue fame, has reportedly been arrested after being “aggressive” and “intimidating” on a recent flight when he wasn’t served alcohol.
The 39-year-old pop star, who identifies as bisexual, is being accused of delaying a Glasgow to London British Airways plane on Sunday (31 July).

Passengers claimed that Ryan “became aggressive with the air hostesses once it became clear he wouldn’t get given alcohol,” as reported by The Sun.
One onlooker told the red top: “At one point he left his seat and started walking up and down the aisle despite being told to sit down – he even ran behind the cabin crew curtains. It was crazy behaviour.”
A Metropolitan police spokesperson told Metro: “At around 1640hrs on Sunday, 31 July, officers met a flight that had arrived at London City Airport from Glasgow”.
“A 39-year-old man was arrested for a public order offence. He was taken into custody at an East London police station and was released under investigation the following day,” the statement continues.
Video footage allegedly shows Ryan being told to gather his things before being escorted off the plane by armed police.
The ‘All Rise’ singer is thought to have spent more than 12 hours in custody and was released on Monday (1 August) pending further investigations.
Ryan has not yet commented on the situation and Attitude has approached representatives for comment.

Blue – made up of Ryan, Duncan James, Simon Webbe, and Antony Costa – was formed in 2000, the group is best known for hits including All Rise and One Love.
The band reunited in 2011, after a seven-year hiatus, to represent the UK at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest where they finished in 11th place.
Earlier this year, Blue announced a new album and comeback tour which includes a date at London’s O2 Arena in December.
