Max George: Relive the Strictly star’s Attitude cover shoot

The Wanted singer got wet 'n wild for us back in 2011.

When it was announced that Max George was taking part in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing, we were instantly transported back to a time when life was simpler.

Picture the scene: it’s the early 2010s, The Wanted are riding high in the charts, ‘Glad You Came’ soundtracks nights at your local LGBTQ establishment and the word ‘corona’ still means the beer in your hand.

Ah, bliss.

Thankfully, the presence of Max, 32, on this year’s Strcitly means we can continue to entertain this fantasy/coping mechanism on a weekly basis from now until Christmas – depending on how well he and partner Dianne Buswell do, of course. 

Max will be hoping to matching the winning run of his bandmate Jay McGuinness in 2015, but whatever happens, the former Glee star will always be able to boast that he’s the only member of The Wanted to land his own solo Attitude cover.

The Mancunian star got wet ‘n wild for us back in September 2011 as part of an issue that saw us celebrating Britains’ great northern cities and had the boys of Geordie Shore stripping off and rolling around in cake.

Like we said, simpler times.
