Troye Sivan drops ‘power bottom gay ballad’ ‘Angel Baby’ with racy new visuals

The singer has described the song as "a surprise gushy juicy doting adoring power b^tt^m gay ballad".

Troye Sivan has released epic new power ballad ‘Angel Baby’ – and it’s taken us straight back to the ’80s.

(Seriously, is anyone else getting REO Speedwagon’s ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’?!).

The track is taken from the singer’s upcoming and as-of-yet untitled third studio album, following 2018’s Bloom.

“Surprise gushy juicy”

The song has been preceded by a series of social media photos of Troye almost-but-not-quite showing off his backside. (In one caption, he adds: “Crack reveal at 10k comments”).

Fitting, as the former Attitude cover star hinted last month the song is once again about bottoming.

Announcing ‘Angel Baby’ on Twitter last month, Troye, who is gay, described the song as a “surprise gushy juicy doting adoring power b^tt^m gay ballad.”

(His 2018 song ‘Bloom’ famously contained the lyrics ‘Take a trip into my garden, I’ve got so much to show you’ and ‘I Bloom just for you.’)

That said, we can’t detect much sexual subtext to the lyrics. In fact, the chorus is just about the most romantic thing we’ve ever heard…

On it, he sings: “I just wanna live in this moment forever, because I’m afraid that living couldn’t gеt any better, started giving up on thе world forever, until you give up heaven so we could be together.”

We’re blooming for it. Or does that sound wrong?
