The cast of Will & Grace celebrate show’s 20th anniversary

The cast shared behind-the-scenes photos from the pilot on Friday (September 21) in celebration.

The cast of Will & Grace celebrated the show’s 20th anniversary with a series of behind-the-scenes pictures this week.

Friday (September 21) marked 20 years since the NBC comedy series’ pilot episode premiered and the cast of the iconic show celebrated by sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures. 

The show’s official Instagram account recorded messages from the cast to celebrate the moment. In his video, Eric McCormack invites fans to watch the show’s pilot before recalling how his hair in the original pilot was “so terrible”.

 McCormack also shared one of his favourite photos from the pilot. Referencing his hair again, McCormack wrote: “A favourite photo of mine from the pilot. All in favour of me growing my hair back out?”

Debra Messing also joined in the celebrations by sharing images on Instagram including a behind-the-scenes image as well as several press shots.

Sean Hayes also shared several behind-the-scenes shots alongside the caption: “Where were you on September 21st, 1998? Share your stories of seeing the pilot episode of @nbcwillandgrace and where you were in life and in the world at a time.”

 While the stars continue to celebrate, the upcoming tenth series of the show will premiere October 4, 2018. The new season has also lined up several guest stars including David Schwimmer, Matt Bomer and many more characters.
