Selena Gomez and James Corden hit the roller coasters for Carpool Karaoke
We love James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke and why wouldn’t we?
He decided to go Broadway earlier this month when Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Jane Krakowski joined him.
This week however, he was joined by pop star Selena Gomez and the results were rather thrilling.
Gay Star News reports that the pair were doing their normal Carpool karaoke segment when Gomez suggested that they should “do something fun” before heading to the studio.
She said, “I mean, you’re kind of the bus, so why don’t you take a little detour for a second?”
Corden replied by saying, “What do you mean? What are you talking about?”
But Gomez wanted to surprise him, “Just trust me,” she added.
Corden did and the pair found themselves riding a roller coaster and half screaming, half singing along to the former Disney star’s hit ‘Come & Get It’.
When they were back in the car, Corden spoke to Gomez about her daily habit of consuming a shot of ginger.
She said it’s for her health, “It’s so good though, it’s a good burn.”
Corden tried it but it didn’t go down well, making him cringe while Gomez, who’s clearly used to it, laughed away.
“It’s absolutely disgusting,” Corden said.
Selena tried to defend herself by saying, “It’s killing everything inside – all the bad things.”
Since the ginger made him hungry, Corden and Gomez grabbed some lunch from McDonald’s and spoke about Taylor Swift’s ‘girl squad’ before singing a rendition of Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’.
Sorry Selena, after watching this we won’t be having any ginger shots.
