Rylan teases Big Brother hosting gig: ‘It’s coming home’

The presenter, who appeared on the programme in 2013, would be an ideal host.

Rylan has teased that he has a role in the return of the once massively successful reality series Big Brother.

Following the announcement from ITV on Monday (1 August) the popular TV presenter tweeted: “He was always watching… It’s coming home #bbuk”

This was then followed by Rylan posting a gif of himself in a hysterical state before he posted a video clip imitating the video of Vice-President Kamala Harris when she found out she and President Biden had won the 2020 election. 

“We did it, Joe,” Rylan says in the brief clip. 

In addition, the presenter also changed his location on Twitter to The Big Brother House / London… Seems suspect if you ask us!

Big Brother initially aired on Channel 4 between 2000 and 2010 before moving to Channel 5. It was dropped in 2018 due to low viewing figures. 

In 2013, Rylan won Celebrity Big Brother and has already done some presenting for the show, making his return along with the show not so unlikely. 

ITV confirmed on Monday that Big Brother would air on ITV2 and ITVX from 2023. 

According to the release, “The action will all play out under the roof of the iconic Big Brother house, which will be given its own contemporary new look ready for this reimagining of the show.

“Clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions will be back, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner, who will walk away with a life changing cash prize.”
