Queer club night, Trade to celebrate 30th birthday with giant 24-hour party

The party will take place on Saturday 12 February at the Egg London.

Trade, the LGBTQ club night, will be celebrating its 30th birthday the only way it knows how this weekend – with a 24-hour party hosted at the Egg London.

On Saturday 12 February the party will feature an electronic music spectacle curated by Trades finest. Cassie Raptor, Fat Tony, Maze & Masters, and Smokin Jo are among the acts we know will be there. A yet-to-be-announced special headliner will also be in attendance as well, so you won’t want to miss it!

Starting in 1992 Trade helped revolutionise the UK club circuit as London’s first gay after-hours club night. Last July, Islington pride awarded Trade with a blue plaque at the former Turnmills, which used to host Trade from 1990 till 2002.

Things kick off at 6 pm and will not stop until 6 pm on Sunday (13 February) Berlin Berlin Performers hosted by Ricardo Castro will carry the action on into Sunday morning in the garden room, while in the Middle Floor, London’s well renowned Adonis will bring their touch of flair to the show.

From 6 pm on Sunday till closing time, The Glory will keep things going with the official afterparty and has invited the likes of Chiyo, Barbs, Sharon Le Grand, and Honey Foxx to entertain. 

Trade’s founder, Laurence Malice, says of the milestone birthday, “Trade has always been a melting pot for its crowd and its music. I can’t wait to welcome back our Trade family and introduce new audiences to our journey through sound.”
