Netflix announces release date of Ryan Murphy’s new series ‘Hollywood’

The series stars the likes of Darren Criss, Patti LuPone, Holland Taylor and Jim Parsons

Netflix has announced the release date of Ryan Murphy’s new series Hollywood.

The seven-episode series is billed as a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown, set in the 1940s, and focuses on the lives of Archie, Raymond and Jack – played by Jeremy Pope, Darren Criss and David Corenswet.

Other cast members include Patti LuPone as Avis, Holland Taylor as Ellen Kincaid, Joe Mantello as Dick and Jim Parsons as talent agent Henry Willson.

Dylan McDermott will also star as Ernie alongside Samara Weaving as Claire, Maude Apatow as Henrietta, Jack Picking as gay icon Rock Hudson, Laura Harrier as Camille.

And now, the streaming giant has revealed the series is set to land on the site from May 1.
