Madonna will perform at the Brit Awards this year, according to reports.
According to a source at The Mirror, the Legendary Queen of Pop – who last performed at the ceremony 20 years-ago – will take to the stage on the big night to perform her new single.
“Madonna wants to perform to the biggest number of people for the maximum impact and there’s no better place for a controversy-filled Madonna performance than the Brits,” said the source.
They continued: “She has already confirmed she will perform at the Grammys, when she will debut the new music. She has cleared her diary for the Brits. She knows she needs to really entertain and bring a good show because she’ll want to be the talking point.”
Meanwhile, global stars confirmed to be performing at the ceremony include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, the latter of which has been nominated for a massive five awards – check out the full list of nominations here.
Madonna was recently forced to defend herself after she was criticised for photoshopping images of Princess Diana and Nelson Mandela to promote her new album – read more here.
