Macklemore owns this naked oil painting of Justin Bieber

In today’s ‘WTF’ news, it’s emerged that US hip-hop star Macklemore is the proud owner of a nude oiling painting of Justin Bieber.
The surprising revelation was made by the Thrift Shop rapper’s musical collaborator Ryan Lewis during a recent profile with Rolling Stone’s Jonah Weiner.
Lewis explained that Macklemore – real name Ben Haggerty – purchased the one-of-a-kind painting, which shows a nude Bieber covered in maple syrup with a pancake draped over his erect manhood, after discovering it online.
On the ground floor is a recording room with a ton of audio gear, a wall of guitars and racks of outlandish garments spouting sequins, fringe and feathers. “Those are Ben’s,” Lewis notes. There is a kitschy velvet painting of a bald eagle, an oil painting of Drake dancing and a transfixing rendition of a naked Justin Bieber with maple syrup pouring down his chest onto a pancake balanced on his boner. “Ben spent a lot of time buying weird stuff on Etsy,” Lewis says.
The painting in question was quickly tracked down by Vulture soon after the interview was published, and it really is something to behold:
The artwork was apparently created y Etsy user Dan Lacey, who told Vulture he was unaware Macklemore purchased the piece.
He says he named the image the “Bieber crotch pancake” and that it represents what he calls the ‘Prescient Pancake’ phenomenon.
“To me, pancakes happen at a spiritual level,” he explained, “sometimes expressing themselves as eroticism.”
While we commend Dan’s work, it’s fair to say it sadly may have been rendered obsolete by last year’s full-frontal photos of The Biebs – unless you’re in the ‘Prescient Pancake’ game, that is.
