Lindsay Lohan recalls alcohol relapse on Alan Carr tonight
Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has opened up about her recent alcohol relapse.
The 27-year-old actress, whose public battle with substance abuse has been widely reported, completed a court ordered 90-day stint in rehab last summer.
Speaking to Alan Carr on tonight’s episode of his Channel 4 chatshow, the Herbie Fully Loaded actress said the incident occurred while she was filming her eight-part fly-on-the-wall documentary series Lindsay, which was commissioned by Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network.
“There was a point on the show when I was in a relationship with someone and I, like, had a drink,” Lohan recalls. “I freaked out and didn’t want to say anything on the show as I didn’t know how that would come across. I was just scared.”
This is not the first time Lohan’s reality show has hit the headlines, after the Mean Girls star revealed that she suffered a miscarriage during shooting.
Speaking in the last episode of Lindsay, Lohan says to the cameras: “No one knows this, and we can finish after this, I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off. On the show when it says, ‘She doesn’t want to come down. She doesn’t want to come down,’ I couldn’t move. I was sick. And mentally that messes with you.”
Watch the full interview between Lindsay Lohan and Alan Carr on Chatty Man tonight (April 25).
Lindsay has already aired on OWN in the US and premieres in the UK on TLC on May 4 with a double bill.
