It’s October 3rd: Mean Girls’ Jonathan Bennett marks iconic day

Just like May 4th is a haven for Star Wars diehards and April 25th is great fodder for those who loved Miss Congeniality, today – October 3rd – is the biggest day in the Mean Girls fans’ calendar.

It’s the day Aaron asked Cady what day it is.

Whether or not Lindsay Lohan herself will acknowledge the momentous occasion remains to be seen, but a couple of the film’s big names have already honoured the moment – including Jonathan Bennett, who played Aaron.

The film, released in 2004, is arguably the biggest thing on most of its stars’ CVs – and quite right, too.

Although Easy A and more recently The Duff have provided solid entries to the teen movie canon, nothing since the Tina Fey-penned classic has managed to reach the same levels of cult classic status.
