GRL dedicate new single and video to Simone Battle

GRL have unveiled the music video for their comeback single Lighthouse.

The group have dedicated the new song – produced by Katy Perry collaborator Dr. Luke – to former member Simone Battle, who tragically took her own life last September – read more here.

The music video pays tribute to the 25-year-old X Factor USA star, featuring clips of the band performing interspersed with videos of their former bandmate hanging out with the group.

Ugly Heart, the group’s first UK single, debuted at Number 11 on the Officials Single Chart in September and has sold a massive 300,000 copies following it’s current 19-week run in the Top 75.

Lighthouse is released in March in the UK.
