Efron on new shirtless scenes: ‘F**k, this is a nightmare’

Zac Efron has jokily complained about the number of shirtless scenes he had to shoot for his new movie Bad Neighbours.

In the forthcoming comedy film, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne play a couple with a newborn baby who move into the house of their dreams – only to find a fraternity house right next door. Efron co-stars as one of the topless jocks living there.

“The second day of filming was Abercrombie and Fitch,” Efron recalled in an interview with MTV. “I was standing there going, f**k this is my nightmare. This is very well what could happen to me some day.”

Meanwhile, his co-star Rogen added: “I’m shirtless more in the movie than I wish I was! The ratio is off, the Zac to Seth shirtlessness. It’s like, one to one. That’s not what you want. It should be 50 to one!”

Bad Neighbours opens in UK cinemas on May 9, 2014. Until then, here are some shots of Efron with his top off in the film.
