Dannii on pop comeback: ‘I’m trying out different things’

Dannii Minogue has reassured fans that a pop comeback is still in the offing.

The 42-year-old said that she is working on music while continuing her career as a TV star on the Australian version of The X Factor.

Speaking to Fault Magazine, she said: “I’m just trying out loads of different stuff with no pressure of a record company or a deal or a date or anything.”

Minogue released five studio albums during her pop career, including Love and Kisses and Neon Nights, which both charted in the UK Top Ten.

She released an Australia-only compilation album last year titled This Is It: The Very Best Of, which featured new track ‘Cos You’re Beautiful, but has yet to launch a full chart comeback.

Minogue served as a judge on the UK version of The X Factor between 2007 and 2010, and is currently serving as a judge in Australia alongside Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Redfoo.
